Vintage model Crochet Shells Bag

A very elegant looking bag…perfect accessory for a party or wedding…goes with any style traditional or modern…fashionable and trendy at the same time…vintage model modernized with present metallic gold yarn and crystal beads :)…

Don’t have a pattern for this lovely creation…Got the basic idea by looking at a picture of a similar one I found for sale on etsy…modified the handles and size…

Crocheted Market/Shopping/Tote Bag

The pattern is from the book Leisure Arts #3903 “280 Crochet Shell Patterns by Darla Sims”, pattern #26 named Short Stems.

This is one of my older projects and the bag is a little soiled, stained, and faded because of the rough use and several washings.

Triangular Crochet Shawl

An intricate fancy piece of crochet work that is very delicate, yet gives a warm feeling when you drape it around your shoulders.  You can wear it as a fashion item too…The pattern was published in Interweave Crochet Winter 2008.

Crochet Shells Bag/Purse

I modified the pattern “Dragon Egg”  drawstring bag available for free in Ravelry here to make this bag…Just looked at the pattern to learn how to make these layered shells.  The counts of each shell and the bag pattern is different from the actual pattern as the pattern is a drawstring purse pattern and made of wool  and I used cotton thread and had to increase the counts to get these shells and changed it to hobo bag instead of drawstring.
