Wild Garden Rose Doily

I made this doily by looking at the “Dublin Garden” doily picture, originally designed by Dot Drake and published in “Crochet Wishes and Wonders” by House of White Birches in January 2000.  I made a slight variation in the the final edging round. Though it may not be exactly like the original one, I liked the fact that it does look somewhat similar.

Cute Rainbow bag/Purse (Crochet)

Beautiful crochet bag that highlights great use of multiple colors with the body in rows of assorted colors and a flower in the center.  It is done with front and back panels featuring rows of lacy stitches of pretty colors joined with shell edging.

I followed a graphical pattern chart (see below) that I found on Google search (think it is from a Japan magazine) for the middle portion of the bag and extended a little bit with few more rows of single crochet to give the bag a rainbow-like appearance.

One more to my crochet flowers addiction.  This is a beautiful Irish rose motif with lacy base that can be used to make crochet accessories – bags, vests, cardigans, brooch etc…I downloaded the graphic pattern for this from Google.
