Lacy Tealight/Candle Holder (Free pattern)

I’ve been crocheting for some 4 years now… has been following patterns or modifying existing patterns to my liking, but when I posted this pic,  many started asking for pattern and one of the popular Facebook Group “Crafts Hobby Club” admin wanted me to do a CAL on this as it is the season of festival of lights, Deepavali, here in India.  I felt it was a wonderful opportunity to start as a designer as there will be many people trying it.

So, this is my first attempt at writing a pattern and hope you all will enjoy making this beautiful tealight/candle holder and celebrate Deepavali or Christmas by lighting a diya or candle in style :)…

This free pattern is for personal use only. You cannot sell or distribute the pattern in any way. You can sell your finished products, but you cannot use my pictures to promote them. If you want to share the pattern, please mention me as the designer and give link to this page.  I request you all to give respect to a designer’s effort and time.  Thank you!

Pretty in Blue Baby Girl Dress

Its been so long since I updated my projects..so here comes the baby dress made as a gift for my niece’s baby girl who turned 1 last December..Since it is December, it has to be one of snowy white, red, green, or blue.  Since I had made baby blanket using white, red and green, this time I turned to white and shades of blue (one of my favorite colors) and the dress turned out to be as beautiful as I imagined :)…

Crochet Doily (Fiber Art)

As it is December, have to crochet something in snowy white and decided upon doing a doily which I can finish fast.  As all my previous doilies are round-shaped, thought of doing a differently shaped one and came across this elegant diamond-shaped doily.  The pattern is from a Japanese magazine “Elegant Crochet Lace”, Doily No. 25.

Cute Rainbow bag/Purse (Crochet)

Beautiful crochet bag that highlights great use of multiple colors with the body in rows of assorted colors and a flower in the center.  It is done with front and back panels featuring rows of lacy stitches of pretty colors joined with shell edging.

I followed a graphical pattern chart (see below) that I found on Google search (think it is from a Japan magazine) for the middle portion of the bag and extended a little bit with few more rows of single crochet to give the bag a rainbow-like appearance.

Irish Roses Bag – Handmade/Crochet

As I said earlier when I posted my “Irish Rose with Lacy Base Square Motif” that I may take a long time to post my completed bag, it took so long for me to finish the bag…but I’m still happy as it is looking lovely…hope you all like it too :)…yet to do the lining and zip closure for the bag, but was eager to show it off hahaha 🙂 ….

The time I took to complete this one is worthy of it as it adds its own style statement.  It has the style and sophistication 🙂 …
