About

Crochet is an art form of creating beautiful things with any kind of yarn and a crochet hook.  It is so addicting that you get excited when you a start a new item, enjoy doing each and every stitch, get fascinated when it slowly transforms into an intricate and delicate lacy design/form, and your happiness knows no bounds when you complete the project.  The finished product is so beautiful that it makes heads turn once again to stand and admire it.

Crocheted fashion accessories be it as a jewelry or an embellishment in any dresses, bags, or a designer ensemble, it has its own style quotient…

It is like when you are sad, you crochet…when you are happy, you crochet…

I am Ganga from Bangalore, India.  I learned crocheting long time back from my sis (my wholehearted thanks to you for teaching me this beautiful art which when involved gives me great inner peace), who is an ardent crocheter herself.  I had not crocheted for years due to lack of time.  Now, having quit job and having a lot of free time in hand, and with more and more beautiful patterns becoming accessible and available through internet, I’ve got my crocheting craziness back and want to fill our home with crocheted accessories to give it a sweet homely atmosphere.

    Hi Ganga,

Beautiful creations by you. I saw the sofa set covers also. Its so pretty, color combinations are so good. What kind of yarn have u used for that? Is it acrylic? Because I wonder if its acrylic, wont that be warm? Or is it ok for the climate of Bangalore? I love your creations…I too do crochet, but havent started any blog or facebook page. Basically , havent started showcasing them. 🙂
Keep going, all the very best.

Thank you Reshmi…yes, I’ve used acrylic wool (3-ply) for the sofa seat covers..I didn’t feel it is making much of a difference…as you said, maybe because of the B’lore weather…Do create a blog/facebook page of your creations, would love to see them…you get so many ideas on creativity and color combinations when looking at others’ creations…looking forward to your upcoming blog/page :)…

Hello. Is it OK to use copies of some of your images in an academic article I am writing about crocheting? I would include a reference to your site in my article if so.
